The Hilton Head Celebrity Golf Tournament has raised almost 4 million dollars for well deserving children’s charities of the South Carolina lowcountry since it teed up its first event in 1979.
This year’s tournament features celebrities like iconic rock’n roller, Alice Cooper; “Law & Order’s”, Anthony Anderson; Dennis Haysbert from “24” and “The Unit”; actor Richard Schiff from “The West Wing”; Alan Thicke; Robert Irvine from The Food Network; country music stars, Jay De Marcus and Joe Don Rooney from “Rascal Flats” and many legendary athletes to include San Francisco outfielder Reggie Smith; 2 time Superbowl champ, Mark Collins and NCAA head basketball coach and ESPN broadcaster, Bucky Waters.
This year’s event includes play on three fantastic courses: Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront course at Palmetto Dunes, Arnold Palmer Signature Course at Wexford Plantation and PGA’s Harbour Town Golf Links in Sea Pines.
